Which lifestyle do you prefer? - City, Suburban, or Country?
City life is loud, always active, filled with people, loaded with conveniences, and you usually do not have to travel far to get what you want. Suburban life is a bit more spaced out, not as many people, still considered to be convenient, but you will likely need a car to get around. Country life is quiet, secluded, away from a lot of people, can be inconvenient, and you will most certainly need to drive far to shop, eat out, and get what you need.

Gasoline/Petrol Prices - Have they gone up by you?
As of right now, we are seeing the costs be compatible with the peak months of the year, in summer. If things continue on this trend we will see gas prices reach prices we had never seen before. They are saying to be prepared for gas becoming $6 per gallon in July outside the city and $13 per gallon within the city. Not to mention this will affect plane ticket prices. Everything will go up.

Will used car prices keep going up?
I noticed used car prices are up by as much as 40% depending on the make, model, and year of the vehicle. That is insane! My husband was looking at trading his car in for a newer used car and it seems like the ones he is looking to buy are up by about 18% from the same time last year. Are they going to keep going up?

Are there benefits to starting a garden indoors?
I have a few things I just threw in pots for the heck of it under a grow lamp and they are doing well. I am just not sure how things will turn out when it is warm enough to actually move them outdoors. I am wondering if there are any benefits to starting plants indoors or if I will need to take extra care of them because I started them this way.

Will you be getting the new Samsung Galaxy s22?
I believe there are three options - the standard, the plus, and the ultra. From what I remember, the standard is $799, the plus is $999, and the ultra is $1199. Those prices seem wildly high to me. If I were to get one, it would be the standard one but even then I couldn't imagine spending more than $350 on a phone.

The likelihood of WWIII?
Russia is attacking Ukraine right now. I don't know how many people have lost their lives. Everything I have heard and read says that if the US or any other nation interferes in any way, it will lead to world war III. I am pretty scared right now. Even if nothing is done, things have been changed for all countries that deal with either Russia or Ukraine on a market scale. I am not sure what will happen next.

How does a digital camera compare to a smartphone?
I was looking at my options and I was considering getting a digital camera instead of a flagship phone. I figured the camera would be great and I wouldn't have to spend so much on a new phone to have a great camera. I am just not sure how they compare. I would only want to spend $400 or so on the camera. Is that enough to get something on-par with the latest flagship phones?

Do you think comedy is what is keeping freedom of speech intact?
I look at shows that focus on comedy, one, in particular, being South Park (an adult cartoon) and the ideas they express, the humor, everything is done in a way to bring people together to just have a laugh. I think we need that more than ever. People are too concerned with feelings and it is scary to me. Feelings are not stable. Emotions sway and can be damaging. I feel like comedy is a good outlet for people to just stop taking things so seriously and relax. What do you think?

How do you feel about the trucker protests happening in Canada right now?
I am all for gathering and protesting the actions of a government when they are not wanted. I think the fact that they are keeping it peaceful and refusing political affiliation shows they are doing it as a community and for the greater good which I can support. I do worry about supply chain issues as I do here in the US. I think it was wrong to block fundraising for them and that move will really sour a lot of people in Canada to their government. They may never trust them again after this.

Does the "Neuralink" worry you for any reason?
The science behind it and how it functions can be used for a lot of good in this world. Namely, helping people to walk again. I think that is fantastic... However, there can be a dark side to this as well. As technology advances and governments/corporations look for more power and control over people's lives... I fear that this tech could one day be used against us.

How have the supply chain issues and shortages affected you?
For me, the cost of most items is up anywhere from 3% to 15%. I noticed it most with meat, dairy, and specialty items. Pet food has been an issue. Cat food is up to $4 per case which has resulted in me needing to spend an extra $30 per month just on their food. The cost of litter is even up about 50 cents per bag. Do you like the snow or would you prefer to be in a warmer climate for winter?
I always find it fascinating that some people do genuinely love the snow while others hate it with a passion. I like it as well as the cold but not when it is causing issues for people. When a bad storm comes and knocks out the power or causes car accidents, I obviously am not okay with that. We tend to have mild winters where I am so I get to enjoy it without worrying too much.

Are there cheap ways to make your home more "green"?
I love the idea and concept of green housing but it is so expensive! I looked into what a green home costs and I was blown away. I want to make sure my house (when my husband and I buy one) is more in-line with the environment and not adding to the problem. Are there cheap ways to go about this? I looked into rainwater recycling using gutters so I plan to do that for a start.

How healthy is your diet?
I feel like there is no "one size fits all" approach when it comes to diets. Certain people need more of something, certain people need less of something. Generally most "healthy foods" are good for everyone but not every diet is. I feel like the SAD diet (standard American diet) is one of those cases where it is generally bad for most people. Are you going to join the "Metaverse"?
I know it is a thing now but still in the early stages. A lot of people are excited to be a part of it. It has no real appeal to me though. I am not on Facebook and don't want to be on that platform. I don't like the concept of living in a virtual reality either. I would much rather go outside and enjoy life and work/interact with real people offline. So I will not be joining.

Do you think TikTok and other social platforms are bad for teens?
I see the trends and everything happening on Tiktok. I am always reading about horrible things people are doing (mostly teens) and how attention-seeking many kids have become today. They get hooked on likes, shares, and interactions. I feel like this can't be good for kids. Do you think Tiktok (as well as other social platforms) are bad for teens to grow up engulfed in?

How to control health fears and phobias?
I noticed mine had gotten worse the last few years. Likely from COVID and people generally being in fear themselves. Anytime I feel different or something happens with my body, I freak out and have anxiety over it sometimes resulting in panic attacks. Common issues I have are shortness of breath, chest pains, and feeling dizzy. These symptoms from my anxiety alone make me panic. It is a messy cycle. Did you have COVID? If so, what were your symptoms like?
I know some people who tested positive and felt horrible while others tested positive and didn't get anything beyond a headache and feeling tired for a few days. Some people said they didn't feel any different at all even though they were confirmed to have it. I am curious to see if anyone here had it yet and what their symptoms were if they did.

What are some of the winter trends this year?
Since 2020, it is hard to make sense of trends in terms of fashion. It seems everything has been on standby. I am not sure what is considered trendy for winter 2021/2022 at this point. It seems like we are still stuck in 2019 in terms of fashion or maybe that is just me?

If the vaccines work, why are most people who are vaccinated still getting sick?
I am honestly confused about this. Like I don't have an issue with the vaccine itself (or rather vaccines at this point) but it seems odd that everyone I know pretty much who has gotten vaccinated has also gotten sick. I was under the impression that the vaccine works yet this is making me feel like something isn't right here. Like I get that there will be breakthrough cases but they should be rare.
