Do you tell your partner everything? Good and bad?

Do you tell your partner everything? Good and bad? When it comes to telling my girlfriend, I have told her everything from my past. I have told her secrets and bad things I've done back in my youth, and she accepted me. She told me her secrets and we're like an open book with each other now. Do you guys tell your partner everything, even the really bad things? How did it go for you?

Businesses that lay off people after making a ton

There was a recent video that went viral, that showed the CEO of better help or better announce to a bunch of their employees in a zoom call that they were being let go. This was after they were acquired by a new team and the CEO allegedly made a ton of money as well. It's sad that anyone gets fired when profits are made. But this seems to be the world we are in these days. Just rich getting richer and employees being kicked to the curb or forced to work long hours.

Does all the bad news bring you down?

The news is often full of bad things happening. Does the news ever bring you down emotionally? I have been a bit emotional when it comes to the many shootings that happen in the states. It's just so disheartening to see people hurt. The news is full of it, and honestly it brings me down a lot. Do you ever feel this way with the news? There's just so much bad in this world. :(

Do you prefer a real book or a kindle/e-reader?

Do you prefer a real book or a kindle/e-reader? What is your opinion on this? I personally prefer the feel of a book, the weight, and the smell of it as well. Kindles are great if you want to have tons of books and even graphic novels and comics at your disposal. But I still prefer reading out of an actual paperback or hardcover book over a digital device any day. What about you?

Are movies becoming more political?

Are movies becoming more political? I feel like a lot of the movies and tv shows we watch get very political. Do you feel the same? I mean, a lot of the movies I see, tend to do something relating to real life politics, because you can tell via the plot sometimes. Sometimes they'll be about making fun of politics, sometimes making fun of the bad side, and trying to promote what they think is the good side. Anyway, do you think movies have become more political these days, or are there... Do you, or some family not visit during the holidays?

Do you, or some family not visit during the holidays? I have been known to skip some holidays depending on who is visiting. But for the most part, I usually am either home with family or have to travel out to someone. But most of the time I do go.Anyway, what about you? Do you sometimes not visit? Or maybe other family who doesn't like to visit?

Did you have any bad holidays?

Did you have any bad holidays? Or has there ever been a holiday where you just had a horrible day, or something horrible happened? I remember a couple Christmases, I had gotten sick each time. One year I had a severe ear infection that bugged me all day. And then another time I had the flu. So yeah. I wouldn't say it made me hate those holidays, just that I hated the day because of being sick. Have you ever had a bad holiday experience?

Has a business ever kicked you out for a dumb reason?

Has a business ever kicked you out for a dumb reason? Like maybe you said or did something that wasn't bad, but they still kicked you out. Has something like that happened to you? I was never kicked out of a business establishment, but I was asked to leave one time. They allowed me back in the next day though. I guess at the time they were repairing some things in the back of this store and the sign they had to tell people not to come in, wasn't up. They screamed at me and were really mad about... (More)

Should we listen to what celebrities say?

Should we listen to what celebrities say? As in politically or about serious things in the world? I feel like yes and no. Some celebs come from a poor beginning, so I respect them making it to the American dream. But, do you ever listen to celebs when they speak out about something? Or are on about anything? I tend not to listen, unless I know the celebrity is smart and isn't spewing conspiracy theories or other dumb things.

Do you get lost in the music or just use it as background noise?

Do you get lost in the music or just use it as background noise? When it comes to listening to music, I like to listen to it for hours on end. I don't usually get lost in the music, as I get lost mostly in my work. But I have tried to focus more on the music I listen to. My thing is, I don't remember most song lyrics, because when I listen to music, I am mostly working, so it kinda blends in with my typing and background noise. Anyway, do you ever get lost in the music? Or is it the other... (More)

Do you find peace and relaxation with video games?

Do you find peace and relaxation with video games? I often find relaxation with video games in general, but there are some more relaxing than others. A game that comes to mind right away for me, is Unpacking. It's a game about unpacking stuff. Well more to do with unpacking after a move. It starts off when you're young, moving your stuff into your bedroom, then it evolves to when you're in college, and then goes through your life. Each level gets different. Some where you have to unpack each... (More)

Would you use alternative medicine?

Would you use alternative medicine? As in stuff like acupuncture, or anything else that doesn't necessarily have a healing like property. Do you think that alternative medicine works? Are there any alternative medicine that does work? I'm open to trying things that are known to work, but I will only try something that has verifiable truth behind it. Anyway, discuss. :)

Do you work during the holidays sometimes?

Has there ever been a time where you work on the holidays? I have worked quite a bit on the holidays myself, but most of the past few years, I've been able to take off time to actually spend with family during the holidays. Do you have to work on the holidays? Were you ever forced to come in to work during the holidays? How did you handle it?

If you died and got two options - To relive your life knowing everything, or to live a new life completely?

If you died and got two options - To relive your life knowing everything, or to live a new life completely? What would you choose? Personally I couldn't relive my life, especially knowing everything. Yeah I could probably change how I lived, but that would also change my experience in that life and could also change the lives of others. Honestly, I would rather just live a new life and create new experiences. I think remembering my past life, would hurt more than anything. What about you... (More)

Do you fidget with anything while you work?

Do you fidget with anything while you work? When it comes to work or anything really. Have you ever fidgeted with anything while working? For me, I carry around a loose string, one from an old hoodie I had. I don't know what it is, but I like fidgeting with it while I work. It eases my stress to have around, as weird as that sounds. I know fidget spinners were created for those who need them, but I just like to use a string. I like to scratch it with my nails as well, so that my nails get... (More)

Has your heart ever been broken?

Has your heart ever been broken? I have had my heart broken a few times, mainly from girls I dated or was interested in and they weren't in me. I dated this one girl for 3 years and was madly in love with her. Sadly she let me think she was in love with me for 3 years, but in fact, she only cared for me the first year and a half, and then just stuck with me because I helped with her bills. Yeah, it was a quick breakup from that point on for me. But it broke me for a while. Have you ever... (More)

Do you prefer movies with practical effects or CGI?

Do you prefer movies with practical effects or CGI? I love practical effects because it often looks more realistic to me. CGI has a long way to go before it looks 100% real, but honestly it's already close to realistic enough. Especially with how the likes of the Mandalorian is made on that green screen stage thing. I can see more movies and shows utilizing that. But, what do you prefer?

Could all drugs one day be legalized?

Do you think one day, that all drugs will be legalized? At least within the terms of there being rules and laws still on the books. I know this idea is a scary one, but I think it would be better than what we're doing now. We can't stop everyone from partaking in harmful drugs. But, if we can make it legal and put rules around it, maybe then we could limit its intake and find ways of saving people. Plus, this would cut down on incarceration by a ton. What do you think? Could all drugs one... (More)

Why do some people believe the Earth is flat?

Why do some people believe the Earth is flat? I know some people out there believe that the earth is somehow flat. I of course don't believe that for one second, as I believe the earth is a sphere like we've been told forever now. But, why do some people still believe the Earth is flat? Is it due to their religion? Do they just not believe in Science? What is their reasoning? What do you think though?

When we die, do you think we go to a place like heaven or somewhere else?

When we die, do you think we go to a place like heaven or somewhere else? I am not very religious, but I like to hope that there's somewhere we could go. My belief is that there isn't, but I wouldn't be against it when I die and end up in a place like heaven. What do you think though? Do we go to heaven? Do we get reincarnated into someone else? Or do we to to a heaven of our own?
