Many people here are still deciding if they will do Halloween this year or not because of the pandemic. Is Halloween still on where you live? Are you going to celebrate it? Hand out candy to the kids or will you not do anything this year? I'm most likely not going to do anything, just shut off the lights, hide and watch a movie lol.

This year its just tricky to do anything that will sound radical or overly crowded. Infact, if it involves kids, it is even more sensitive. I wouldn't celebrate anything in the usual manner that we used to do back before the pandemic. I'm worried we may soon see the second phase of the virus.

The second wave of the virus is already here but that's not stopping a lot of people from celebrating holidays even though it should, especially Halloween because you walk by a lot of people, going to houses knocking on doors other kids have touched, etc. I know people want to go to the old normal but that's not going to happen again unless we follow guidelines to help flatten the curve.

I never celebrate Halloween myself. As a Christian, it just has no appeal for me. Even if I wasn't a Christian, I don't drink or like parties so the only thing I would do is dress up. I do wear cat ears every year but only because I have an excuse to and not look like a weirdo lol I hope for those of you who do celebrate the day, it goes good for you and yours, all things considered (2020 being a mess).

I will celebrate it in the comfort of my own home. But it's not worth going out there to celebrate Halloween. My town is in talks of whether or not to cancel Halloween at this point, and I am in agreement. Well, not outright cancel Halloween, but anything to do with trick or treating and parties probably shouldn't happen.
I suspect my town will cancel trick or treating and social gatherings at the very least.
