Why do some people believe the Earth is flat? I know some people out there believe that the earth is somehow flat. I of course don't believe that for one second, as I believe the earth is a sphere like we've been told forever now. But, why do some people still believe the Earth is flat? Is it due to their religion? Do they just not believe in Science? What is their reasoning?
What do you think though?

I'm guessing while they were being taught, they never bothered to listen to the whole thing and made it a belief of their own, which they are stringent about, unfortunately. I've never been able to figure out how they come up with the arguments they do? Turns out fast-paced information as well as social media play a huge role in the mass gathering of such ones because, for some reason, it's considered quote "woke". There seem to be some religious sentiments and beliefs involved as well. I have come across people on the net who believe that the earth being round is a massive conspiracy theory, and as to how NASA doesn't want us to know the reality of our planet's flatness...

I wish I knew the answer to that but I don't think anyone does. I think it mostly comes from the fact that some people can't differentiate between religion, science, and myth.

There's much reason. One of the big reasons is the lack of intelligence and knowledge. Most people don't follow the evidence and start arguing with people by saying "How do they know?". They read articles somewhere regarding the flat earth and stick to it. It's better not to argue with such people because it makes them angry and will basically insult you
