Spending some me-time at my favorite cafe/restaurant, going to Church, and seeing beautiful views like this are where I go or do when I want to heal.

There's no specific place for me. Whenever I am upset or feeling sad I start walking. I have a car and a bike but I prefer walking.

Cycling or walking are great ways, exercise can do wonders and nature sure helps get out of ones head a bunch too.

When I need time to heal, I tend to just take a break from everything, and let my mind relax a bit. I usually go to the lake, or sit down with a good book to pass the time. Eventually I feel better.

When I need to heal I go to my Bible, talk to God. I listen to worship music, watch a sermon, go for a long hike in beautiful scenery, etc. Sometimes you just have to have some me time too.

Emotional and physical pain are two different things for me. I tend to handle physical pain a lot better but because of my issues with anxiety, emotional pain can be a struggle to cope with. I will usually find something to do to keep my mind busy like drawing, playing a game, or spending time around animals. Outside of my husband, I tend not to want to be around people when I am trying to heal from emotional issues.
