Happiness, like every other emotion, is temporary. This is the truth.

Nothing on this earth can keep a person happy for too long. The goal therefore is to always create instances where you can be happy.

This, for me, lies in the subconscious; in the way we view the world around us. If you look at a thing in a good positive way, you will feel happy about that thing.

This is where true happiness lies. In our minds.

Happiness just like everything else in the world is transitory. I feel like there is some comfort to be had in the fact that nothing in life is permanent. Everything passes, be it happy or sad. I also feel like it is unrealistic to expect emotion to be forever because we as humans are highly dynamic and lead rather emotionally receptive lives. There is no way for our environment to be constant thus it is also impossible for our happiness to be constant. In conclusion, I think that the truth about happiness is that it is a beautiful emotion that we can be in control of if we make peace with the fact that isn't ever-present.

Happiness is a mindset. It is something that will always come and go and never remain. This is why our happiest moments in life are the most cherished because those bad unhappy moments make them more important and valuable to us.

For me, happiness is being contented with what i have and enjoying life as it is. You will only be happy when you deal with things that you can control. To be happy is to be a stoic.
