I like to find a creative outlet. I usually draw, paint, or do some kind of craft project. One thing that I have been really enjoying lately is acrylic pouring. It is simple and a surprise really when you see the end result. Anyone can do it and it takes no vast skill level. You learn as you go and can make beautiful artwork even as a beginner.

I try to give myself time to relax without fixating on whatever is bothering me. The relaxation could come from a nap, watching a show, listening to music, or painting. I sometimes mix a few of these and try to get my mind off whatever may have caused my bad mood.

For me it is probably listening to music. I find that most of the time, music will relax me and calm me down. It doesn't always help with the depression, but it can help from time to time. I also enjoy watching a movie or playing a video game, that will often take my mind off of it too.

I find refuge in my furry companions and sleep it off. In cases where I'm not with them, I tend to listen to music while walking around in circles and, generally, make sure to write it off to gain clarity. If the mood is typically low, I turn to drawing or painting because it helps me take my mind off of dwelling onto things that just depress me even more. When I draw, my focus narrows down to the drawing alone. It relieves me intensely after I'm done with it.
