I have realized that having a job as an adult is not as easy as it may have seemed and I wonder if there are things that people do or have started to do since joining the workforce to make the most out of this experience.

Working for another person is not easy. Most people struggle with it. When I was still working outside the home, I had a job I enjoyed a lot because it dealt with something I was passionate about. I think that is the key. Work where and with what you have passion in and you will be more successful, period.

For me, i prefer continuous learning. I noticed this is only way you can make yourself relevant for a very long time. When you continuously study or learn new things about your profession or a skill that you are trying to develop, you will be updated with the latest developments in the sector or field. This will make you marketable and always in demand. You will be the go-to person for advice when people need to learn or know something in that field. This can be done through courses, audiobooks, and other flexible learning strategies.
