Deep breathing. The 4-7-8 method. You inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 and exhale for 8. You don't have to be in a rush while doing this, simply sit somewhere and do this for 4-5 times or howsoever many you're comfortable with. This helps relax me in stressful situations and has worked out well for me. It aids me in gaining clarity about my thoughts and how I should move forward with them.

Deep breathing really is amazing as Pritika said. I have another thing that I do when I'm anxious that seems to help. I turn off the lights and reduce external stimulation as much as possible then I just close my eyes and try to clear my mind. It usually works when I start focusing on background sounds rather than actively thinking and then once I'm feeling more grounded, I either stay as I am or play some soft music. It really helps me feel more centered and once I'm done, I can think more clearly about the situation at hand.
