This is more like, `let me eat and have my cake, or we are done. Or our relationship isn’t enough or complete, we need a third wheel to make it whole. I would be sick to my stomach if my partner throw this in my face. It’s abusive and threatening at the same time. Who wants that? Definitely not me!

If this is your partner's consistent position, then you need to leave them. I don't know how else to say it.They want something that they absolutely do not believe in themselves. When trust is lost, love is lost. Respect is lost. And basically the relationship is over.
