Here, where we live, the weekly average of daily new cases is on the rise and people are starting to fear for the worst. How about where you live?

The scare has definitely gotten to the people of our country. Open and public spaces have been barred from entry, and a night curfew has been imposed in one of the states. Large groups are not permitted. The chances of a lockdown were also discussed, which the doctors said had a high likelihood of happening.

Oh boy, this isn't good at all. May God help us all.

Here's hoping people actually learn from their mistakes and do not repeat them again by seriously following the precautions needed. I genuinely don't want history to be repeated.

I watched and paid attention to the news coming directly out of Africa where it started and according to their leading health experts and many others from around the world, this variant is a "best care scenario". What they mean by this is it is showing the virus is getting weaker. No one has died from this variant either which is great news. I know people will continue to panic but I feel that we are pretty much out of the worst of it since death rates are very low. I would guess come summer, it will be a non-issue like other seasonal flu. Not to say it is a non-issue. 150 to 300k people die each year in the US alone due to the flu. I pray we focus more on health and getting people healthier in the future so things like this don't cause so much damage.
