Yes I believe it is. It may be hard at first but like anything to get good at it we need to practice it lots and be disciplined and rewards ourselves once in awhile for a good job.

I definitely would think it is. With enough diligence you can train yourself to control and not give into desires as easily

Well, i would say it can be inculcated through rigorous exercises and consistent practice. I don't think it can be taught like a syllabus in schools, with laid down units or sub-units to master. This is like a sport, it just requires practice. Once you master an aspect of self control, like tolerance, you need to rinse and repeat in a real-life situation. Once you master one aspect, move to the next and repeat until it develops into a habit.

Self-control is what you build up, develop, produce and learn by dominant your behavior repeatedly. we must always regard self-control as a ability. it's not a personality attribute or a factor you've got to possess that permits you to management your behavior (or a factor that not having it prevents you from doing so!)
