Hell no. There is always an appointed time for everything; a time to work and a time to play, a time to have a meaningful discussion with your partner/loved ones, and a time to use your phone. There is nothing more rewarding than having a phone distraction-free meaningful conversation with your partner. Constantly checking on your phone while having a chat with your partner is sending a message that you would just be happy to be with your phone only. Your partner deserves your 100% attention and all those text messages, Instagram, news, etc can always wait.

No way! This is not possible, every single click or tap on your phone requires a great amount of processing from your brain. At any one time, attention will keep shifting from the phone to your partner. And in the end, none of them will get your attention.

I think it's about establishing your priorities. Whenever I'm out on a date, meeting with friends, etc, I always put my phone on silent mode and respond to any message at a more convenient time.

It's not possible at all. Quality time that you could have with your partner could be ruined if you constantly have to put your eyes on your device. You got to think what is more important to you, quality time with your mate or screentime?
