I wouldn't say it's hard to do, because sometimes we have friends who are the opposite sex. There are some people who I'm sure can't be around single people, but I think most people are capable to having friends of the opposite sex without making it weird. I have many friends who are female and we have no issues.

It is possible, but no matter how hard the two of them control it, they will have to let go at some point and give in to their inner forces. Strong friendship is the basis of a healthy relationship. If the friendship will be stronger than his or her current relationship, eventually it will end up ruining the relationship.

There is no rule that a married person can’t be a friend of a single person especially the opposite sex. In-office we have opposite sex as colleague, it is usually good to have a friend to talk about different and serious conversation, besides there is a fine line between friendship and flirting. Opposite sex friendship doesn’t mean talking about your wife or husband. Our society tells us otherwise boundaries are inside you how you take a relationship with self-control and honestly.
