Do you think there can be instant chemistry between two complete strangers?

This is a really great question that might be a tad difficult to get a general concession on. Yes, there can be an instant spark between two complete strangers. Is it a real thing, though? That really depends on whom you ask.
I don’t really think the initial 5 mins or so spark between two people can predict the quality, nay success of any potential relationship, because there’s no way one could possibly know someone we just met. But even if the initial spark is magnetic, calm, exciting, and even addictive, there’s still a lot that could go wrong, as it isn’t always indicative of compatibility, especially if it`s one-sided. I always wonder what would happen if it fades away?

It does exist. But in todays world, it can be meaningless.
Why...
Because the world is full of things that spike our dopamine (our feel good emotions)
You could, for instance, take a bottle of wine and suddenly fall in love with the person who shares one with you.
You could watch sex scenes in a movie the night before and instantly get attracted to a stranger you meet the next morning.
In the same vein, having too much dopamine could lead to addiction. In the case of romance, an instant connection would never feel the same if you're constantly on the look our for the next romantic connection.
Reiterating my earlier statement, instant chemistry could be a figment of dopamine rush.
It's a warped ideology and I'm just thinking aloud. But if you really think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

Hmm... It might exist, but because I haven't experienced it, I can't bring myself to believe it. That doesn't rule out the possibility of me not hoping for it though.
