How likely are we going to catch COVID-19 while flying in airplanes?

I consider the plane to be among the riskiest of all places. This is because, while airborne, the air in the plane is circulated. Basically, it means while you are up there, you will be breathing artificial oxygen. If by any chance the virus gets it way inside, it means it will stay inside. Not that the virus is airborne but this increases the chances. I would avoid flights this early. Unless it is really necessary. Observing the simple rules will help a long way. From now one, it is business unusual for all the activities were used to do easily pre-pandemic.

I don't think traveling by plane right now is safe, because long-distance travel is more likely to catch COVID-19. If I still have to travel by plane, I will take precautions to avoid COVID-19.

True. Some countries have declared low transmission numbers. But still, since the virus keeps evolving into more complicated strains, it think it is wise just to stay in your country for a while until the situation is confirmed to be safe for travel.
I wouldn't want to risk myself or my family at this time. There is hope for things to improve, all it requires is some time for the situation to settle completely.

I would advise against it as much as possible. You are all breathing the same air inside an airplane, it just takes one person to infect others.

I feel flying and traveling should be postponed as COVID is rampant around the world. Second there
is no need at this time to be anywhere, but home to flatten the curve.
