I would be uncomfortable, but I would also try to ignore it.It's not that I don't believe in being friendly with strangers—I do! But there are certain things that make me feel uncomfortable, and this is one of them.

I don't like it when people wink at me because it makes me feel like they're trying to flirt with me or make a move on me. When someone winks at me, the first thing in my mind is: "Is this person trying to hit on me?"

It's not exactly a pleasant thought!In some situations, like if we were on a date or something, it might be flattering and sweet.

But if we were just casually talking in public, and they winked at me? That would make me feel very uncomfortable.
