I prefer wearing the mask and so have been asked the reason for doing so despite things getting back to normalcy many a time. My answer's still the same as I mentioned before; it has now become a part of my identity and it makes me feel secure when I have it on, irrespective of Corona being there or not. For people who don't wear masks in safe zones, it's their choice to do so and it should be respected unless it's being followed in high-risk areas. Some people find it hard to breathe while wearing masks, and it is especially irritating for those who wear glasses. So, I guess at one point, it's just you do you, unless you're harming someone, which is not cool.

I`m 100% with you. I don't see why I should explain my choices to a random stranger(s). I only need to explain myself to friends and family if asked.  We should respect each other`s risk tolerance and life choices.

You should not be concerned about what strangers think about your mask. Wearing a mask is a personal choice, and you should not let others make decisions about how you dress. It is not only rude, it is dangerous for people who do not wear masks.

However, this is the case in those countries that have not yet been found safe from the virus. I would recommend living the dressing decision to an individual and not trying to influence them with out own preference.
