Most people can't go a single day without having a cup of coffee/tea. Some people need way more. I know a lady that has around 7 cups a day. How many cups of coffee/tea do you have per day? I have 1 to 2 cups of tea per day. I always have to have tea in the morning when I wake up.

Mostly it depends on weather, but anyway i would like to have at least one cup of tea in a day, if its winter i would take 2 or 3 cups to worm up my self in cozy nights in hot summer days 1 cup should be enough for me.

I absolutely adore tea/coffee, I assume it as a medicine , weather I've flu or sore throat. I take 2 cups at least to keep myself energized throughout the day.

I don't usually drink either. If I did I would probably drink coffee, but even so, I can't stand coffee that much lol. I've only ever had a cup of Joe 3 or 4 times in my life maybe. And those were times when my asthma would act up, and I needed something hot to open up my lungs. Coffee did the trick.
But yeah, never been a fan of either. I like the lipton green tea, but that has artificial sweetners and isn't real tea.

I think that’s a great question worth a good and honest answer. I believe the biggest reason is that coffee is a symbol of concentration. And coders need to concentrate to get any meaningful work done. A Productivity Trigger For Coders Having a cup of coffee by my side when i dive into some complicated code is part of my habit. It’s almost like a trigger for me when I’m pondering a complicated problem: As soon as I sit down with a cup of coffee in my hand I know the ideas will start flowing.
