There is no right or wrong way here, as the best way to get through a bad breakup may vary depending on the situation. However, some general tips to help you cope might include reaching out to family and friends for support, distracting yourself with activities that make you happy, and allowing yourself time to grieve the loss of the relationship.

It's also important to remember that there is no timetable for getting over a breakup. Some people may feel better after a few weeks, while others may need several months or even years. The most important thing is to focus on taking care of yourself both mentally and physically during this difficult time.

As humans, we are all unique, and so our problems may lead to a breakup. To begin with, Break-ups are generally contextual i.e., depending on the situation. For example, someone might choose to break up over a single fight and someone else might take this step due to multiple or frequent clashes.

Most people choose to end up a relationship when they are angry (remember anger can be the manifestation of several underlying emotions such as disgust, sadness etc.) Though, the better (mature) way is to end with dignity. This means separating on a good note and not engaging in behaviours like blaming or shaming.
