Does happiness mean that one has to be joyful, enthusiastic, and high-spirited most of the time or all the time, or it`s something else? What does it really mean to be truly happy? Does it increase or decrease with age?

Life is imperfect, filled with pluses and minuses. Focusing on the positives and savoring them is what happiness is about.
Happiness means you can recognize and appreciate the good things. Happiness is when you can recognize and appreciate the good things in your life without letting the bad things overshadow them. For the vast majority of us, the good in our life far outweighs the bad.

Happiness is the contrast with stress and struggle. I feel our happiest moments come when the stresses of life and the struggles of life are at the minimum but it is always an up and down cycle. Life is not easy for anyone and the struggles and hardships make those happy moments all that more enjoyable.

Happiness to me is the ability to remain calm and smile.
There's nothing more fulfilling than just laying back and chilling. With your mind at ease, your breathing aligned; you can almost connect with the bubbles of life.

This is a good question. Many people think happiness is having a lot of money, and smiling all over. For me, happiness is the other way round, when i put a smile on someone else's face, that is when am happy. Even when sometimes it costs me my happiness. I crossed Wealth from the list of things that make me happy. Because i discovered it doesn't make you happy. The rich also cry! Instead, i consider health to be on the top of the list of things that make me happy. Followed by helping others achieve their goals.

Happiness is realizing that after a hard days work, you have a family to go home to. Your wife, kids, and more. That is how it is for me. But you may define your happiness differently. My happiness comes from my family, my work, and my interests for the most part.
I feel happiness even in times of sadness, because when you have family and friends around, they can make even the saddest moment a good one sometimes.

Happiness is an internal state which is somehow very much in connection with your loved ones as well as yourself. It's something that comes from within me, from a place of serenity and peace.
