How do respond to an ex who texted you,"I'm dating someone far better than you."?

I would just say "Keep telling yourself that" and then never send him another message. He clearly has a thing for you still if he has to do petty stuff like that.

The best thing you can do, is maybe even block him. That should show him you don't care how he's doing. And maybe it'll get him to leave you alone for good.

Rule of thumb "Long press the 'Ignore' button".

If your phone doesn't have the ignore button, simply make sure you don't respond to that message. be cause s/he is just making a fool of him/herself. When s/he was with you, she lied that you are the best wo/man on earth. Now s/he is telling the same to another. The fact that s/he has taken time to text you, means s/he hasn't moved on. And you will be foolish to answer that text. You don't want a protracted exchange of useless texts!

If you are truly over them, I would suggest just ignoring it. The fact that this boyfriend is texting you to let you know about his new girlfriend seems to suggest that he is not totally over you. The way I see it, If I've truly moved on with a new girlfriend I would not want to be texting my ex.

Yes, why would you have your ex' number still? In the past when a relationship would not work I would block her number. I would say to you to block the number, ignore the text and move on :) You'll find someone better eventually :)
