YouTube is the greatest way to earn money you can convert your passion into income through video ads affiliate marketing etc. But its not easy to earn from it due to high competition anyways you need at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of  watch time in order to start your monetizing

YouTube isn't as good as it once was. If you want to make money, YouTube probably isn't the place anymore. New creators are having trouble making much on YouTube, and with their new rules and systems in place, your content needs to be 100% advertiser friendly. 

Ads are another issue. If your content has anything bad, or considered offensive, you will probably be demonetized. As well, you need a lot of views, as well as people watching all of your video. I'd recommend streaming on twitch over YouTube to be honest. But, it really depends on what kind of content you do.

Youtube is being a very good platform to make money, especially when it comes to work online or work from home. A lot of people making handsome amount and paying their bills just making videos on YouTube. but still you need to fulfill some of YouTube requirements. Such at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours you should have before you start making money on YouTube.

They complete the minimum watch time and subscribers , given by youtube to get their videos monetized. Once your videos are monetized , adds will be played with your videos ,the amount of traffic on your videos too matter in order to earn with youtube.

YouTube or any kind of streaming service would be hard to make money I would think. There are millions of people using it and doing the same thing. When your streaming, you should first do it because its your passion and a hobby and if you make money from it overtime then great! If not, just keep doing it because its fun  :)
