I never paid close attention while choosing my first niche sites. I landed a good domain name on Godaddy Auction and went with it. But it was in an area that i have passion, but it is damn competitive. How did you select your niche? Any untapped niches in mind?

I usually pick global niches that are doing well and try to scope it to my country, or some sort of smaller scope that I think would earn some income.

Great. Thanks. Sounds workable. I should try that. I have made several niche mistakes. This time i wanna be more careful.

I normally pick my targeted audience before choosing a niche, then i start looking other tools for affiliate marketing either is a blog or social network or simply a website.

That is great. I have been a victim of the domain choosing me! And at the moment am suffering the consequences of penetrating a very competitive niche. Also, I was only centred on keywords. I should try your approach of looking at my target and working my way back.

Nice congrats to you for a good domain that you found on Godaddy. I'm not sure if I would ever own my own forum I like to help other forums out by being a member.

That sounds great. But I was talking about Affiliate Niche sites. And Yes, the forum is a community, in order to build a community, you must be a member of as many communities as possible, so that you can invite them also to participate in your community.

Depending on the authority you create on others' community, they will be obliged to join yours. Been there, tried that. It always works like magic.
