I guess the weirdest one was when I was with my mother and one of the guys at the bar of the restaurant send over a drink and his number. He was maybe 3 years older than me and I as well as the waitress assumed it was for me. Nope, it was for my mother! I had to hold in the laughter. I know it made her feel good but I was just taken back by it!

There is this one time we went to a restaurant with my friends, then one of the waitresses had a crush on my friend. They exchanged numbers. Then shortly after, another waitress came to clear the table and had a crush on the same friend, and of course, exchanged numbers. Shortly after, there was a commotion in the kitchen! Reason! My handsome friend! This is the weirdest i have had so far!

This isn't exactly a restaurant experience but an ordering-in experience. My roommate and I were hungry and didn't feel like cooking so we ordered from an app. The restaurant had some good reviews and the prices seemed okay so we ordered. The food took almost two hours to get there but we didn't make a fuss. However, when we opened the package it was just some boiled, unsalted pasta and pretty much-burnt fries. The milkshake was just a chocolate bar blended with cold milk and the chocolate had settled to the bottom. It was so bad we couldn't believe our eyes. By the time we got in contact with the customer service people from the app, deliveries had been stopped and so we had to make do with whatever they had sent us. We did get a refund but that certainly did not help how hungry and pissed off we were. We laughed about it later but at that moment we were furious.

That one time when I came across a former college colleague at a fancy restaurant. We were both on separate dates, but mine ended earlier. So I walk up to her table, where she's enjoying a nice milkshake with her date; just to say hello.

We were never close in school, so I was surprised when she suddenly embraces me tightly. Then out of blue, she says, "Let's exchange numbers, so you can take me out on dates as well."

I don't know who felt more awkward; me or her date. But I never texted her. That's gold-digger attitude right there. It was just a very strange thing to say.
